Therefore, choosing the right shoes is equally as fundamental: firstly, they should never constrict or be an “obstacle” to growing feet. They must accompany their natural physiological development and meet their needs, step by step.
Given that ossification is not completed in the first months of life, small feet are still vulnerable and can, therefore, suffer from even the most minor constraint, for example an incorrect sleeping position. We think of the feet as complex, “sensory” organs (even at birth they are more sensitive than hands), which help the child explore and experiment with surfaces, objects and the surrounding environment, and transmit sensations and different stimuli through contact: sensations of pleasure or pain, cold or hot, rough or smooth etc.
This is why it is important to respect the free, barefoot phase and to protect the feet from the cold and other factors with shoes.[/fusion_text][/one_full][/fullwidth]
